Greetings Group: I am hoping that someone can help me. After spending days at the LDS peering at the 1841 census I was bitterly disappointed to find that the pages for Coleford were almost blank, just a few illegible lines. I do not know if it was the fault of the film or the original. If it was just the fault of the film, would it be possible for someone to have a look at those pages and see if they can find Henry NICHOLS, and his family. One of his sons was named Charles. Henry's occupation would probably have been either bank manager, gentleman or something in the same order. .Those were occupations given in the Trade directories. In 1840 he was living at Rock House in Newland Street, Coleford. If this is an impossible task, I understand. Thank you in anticipation. The film has also been sent back.!!! PatZ. West Aust.
