Hi My interest in the Meeks goes way back. My ancestor John Edy married Jane Meek in Watford 14th May 1709. They had the following surviving children:- JANE EDY b.1714 Ruardean m. Richard Pomfrom 30 May 1737 in Ruardean JOHN EDY b 1719 Ruardean m MARY HODGES 12 May 1745. He died 1 February 1780. Children:- JOSEPH EDY m SARAH EDY they were second cousins l5 February 1779 JANE EDY m PHILIP HATTON 9 February 1770 I am afraid I did not further research on the Meeks but have the descendents stemming from the original marriage down to the present for the Edy family.
