Thanks Cathie for the info The Family in the 1861 census is mine. I have the 1851 census and 1881 census so receiving the information was great. I now know that Richard (head) must have died. He was stated as Freeholder 50 acres in the 1851 census. My grandfather 3 Thomas was a Brightsmyth's apprentice, do you have much information about the farm your ancestors owned? Regards Sonia
