Dear listers 1. I am assisting with the development of the Yorkley Primary School website and wondering if anyone has any photo's of the school in former times that we could put on the website. Anything is of interest as the school is also looking to producing an exhibition to celebrate its centenary which comes up in the next 3 years, a period that is not too long in academic terms! If you have scanned in photo's that is great, I can also scan in originals. So if you want to, email me off group and we can arrange something. 2. A friend of mine is married to the Grand Niece of Ivy RUCK nee RICHARDS, who has long departed this world. What is of interest is that Ivy left the forest, travelled from the east to the west coast of America in a covered wagon and then came back again to the forest! The RUCKs lived in Oldcroft where there are still a number to be found. They have a strong connection with the Viney St Swithams sports club. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL for more details, I don't have them and my friend and his wife are not in a position to provide any more details at the moment.
