My direct ancestor was JOSEPH WOOLES born in approx 1821 (have not found the baptism) who married HESTER MOORE of Arlingham (daughter of WILLIAM MOORE) on 10.4.1842 at Newnham. The marriage only lasted about three years as Hester sadly died on 26.1.1845 aged 21. She left two daughters Mary Wooles bap.6.7.1842 and Emma 23.6.1844. Joseph later married SARAH MERRY also from Arlingham and went on to have a large family. I would appreciate any info about these families or any help on the WOOLES family in general - I believe some Wooles lived at Westbury on Severn as I have a number of early wills.
