Hello, I'm a new contact, and from west coast of Canada. Im interested in email contacts persons with "Hatton" ancestors in Ruardean and Hope Mansell areas. My John 1622/4 & Jane Eddy oldest. This John of Gloucester, 7 gens in Ruardean, 1 gen in Hope Mansell. Subsequent known generations to date in Wales (Cwmcarvan/Merthyl Tydfil/Abertillary/Gilwern) and then to Canada. Recognize that within a 20 mile radius there are many towns with Hatton ancestors, and likely this family spread out into them - a lot of possible connections. If you think that there may be a connection, give me some names and chr dates which I can check againsgt mine. I'm just preparing 300 person Descendant Report (85K) and Gedcom file. Prepared to exchange with bonafide individuals. Also planning a trip into Ruardean area in near future, and can meet with individuals and discuss potential connections. Hi Jim Our family came from Ruardean Hill and we are also trying to trace family. We have found a picture of Will Hatton among family photo's also an Abiah Hatton plus an Alice Hatton Downs. Some how they are all related to the Reed, or Powell, or Knight families which are the three families we are tracing. Let us know if any of these are your family and we will email you their pictures.
