I am new to your list and am searching for any information on Charles WATKINS born about 1826 in Newham, Little Dean. He married Mary HADLEY 24 Sept 1853 in the Resgistry Office, Dist Westbury, Glouc. His father was James WATKINS and mother was Elizabeth ? James and Elizabeth were married in 1816 in Abinghall, Glouc. Possible siblings of Charles were Esther and Henry. Mary HADLEY was born about 1833 in Cam, Gloucestershire. Her father was Henry HADLEY, mother Jane ? Henry was born in 1805 in Cam. Died in 1875 in Cinderford. His parents were James HADLEY and Elizabeth BLANCH. Known children of Charles and Mary were Ann: born 15 August 1854 in Woodside, married James PRING in Bristol in 1875 (my great grandparents) Ann's siblings were: Mary b.about 1865 in Cinderford; Frederick b.about1870 in Cinderford; and Ellen b about 1872 in Cinderford. On the 1881 census Charles and Mary had a grandaughter Amelia WATKINS living with them.
