Good Morning listers A little while ago I asked for any information about Annie Hatton, living somewhere in the Forest of Dean area, born 1893. She was found on the 1901 census living with her mother Eliza and seven siblings in Yorkley, which place rang a bell with the friend whose family I'm looking up. Oddly, none of these 8 people apparently have any occupation, even 17 year old Bessie. I wonder what they lived on! Anyway, a marriage certificate has now been found for Annie (who married Daniel Dorrington) and it says her father was Francis Richard Hatton, who is currently invisible in 1881 and 1891 (when he must have been alive to beget Annie, and indeed Annie's younger brother and sister) Eliza was a widow in 1901 and Francis' occupation a collier.I have tried looking for Frank, and Richard. There certainly are Richard Hattons around but so far I've not found Francis. Any help greatly appreciated. Clare (in Oxford)
