Hi No, there isn't a Shadrach but there is a lodger of right age living next door to who I believe becomes his wife just down the road from who I believe is his mother and brother (see details on my email) Shadrach, Meshach and Adednego are a famous trio of biblical names. I was hoping someone had access to 1871 or 1861 census for me to check my theory. Many thanks for your search Janet Howell ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Adams" <adamsmc@bryn17.fsnet.co.uk> To: "Janet Singleton" <Hywel@risinsun.co.uk> Sent: Monday, May 31, 2004 8:01 AM Subject: Re: [FoD] JENKINS / DAVIES > Hi, > If it is of any help, I have checked the 1851 census CD for Glos. > unfortunately there is no record of Shadrach Jenkins. > Regards, > Mike Adams > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Janet Singleton" <Hywel@risinsun.co.uk> > To: <ENG-GLOS-FOREST-DEAN-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Monday, May 31, 2004 1:05 AM > Subject: [FoD] JENKINS / DAVIES > > > > Following information from 1881 and 1891 census and 2 birth certs I have > the > > following > > Family so far seems to be > > name born / place 1891 / 1881 > > Shadrach Jenkins 1832 Lidney / Bream > > Sarah Jenkins (neeDavies) 1827 Lidney / Bream Woodside > > John Jenkins 1857 ? / Bream cert 8th March 1857 > reg Coleford > > William Jenkins 1868 Lidney / ? > > Sarah Hannah Jenkins 1870 Lidney / Bream Woodside cert 30th > May1870 reg Coleford > > > > John may well be the oldest but I am sure there must be more children.
