Hi Jenny Many thanks for this! I was right I think that John was the oldest and glad to find an Arthur as in 1891 Shadrach has a grandson called Arthur Shadrach Jenkins ! (as yet I don't know who's son) I have lots of leads now for next step of research. (this all started from an "idea" to reasearch my maternal line which will go back now through Sarah Davis and also because I received a small photo in a broach when my aunt died at christmas. I believe the photo must be Sarah H or Sarah below judging by the costume) Again. many thanks Janet ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jenny Smith" <jms.ciren@virgin.net> To: <ENG-GLOS-FOREST-DEAN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 31, 2004 6:57 PM Subject: [FoD] Jenkins/Davies > For Janet > I have the following > 1871 census > Bream Eaves. > Shadrach JENKINS age 39 Iron Ore Miner born West Dean > Sarah age 44 " > John age 14 " > Rachel age 10 " > Arthur age 7 " > Emma?/ Evan? age 5 " > William T 3 " > Sarah H age 10 mon " > > In the good old days B.C.
