Hi Listers I am a new member and am searching for a ghost town, alledgedly in Gloucestershire. My grandmother, Sarah Ann SMITH, was, according to the 1881 Census, born in1854, in Halford, Gloucester. As I cannot find any trace of Halford in Gloucester has anyone any suggestions as to her birthplace? Was it a village that has disappeared into the ether or have the county boundaries been moved since 1854? The only ones listed on the O.S.Map are in Shropshire and Warwickshire. HELP! Josi Kemper
