Hello listers. Does anyone on the list have access to the Calendar of Wills post 1858 of the Principal Probate Registry? I hate to write to York and fork over £5 (which is more than double in CDN $) if there isn't a will, so I'd like to check the index first. The person I am looking for is Edward JONES who died at Upper Bilson, Cinderford, Gloucestershire on 10 Jan 1894 aged 78. He was a "tinman" or tin plate worker. I think its not very likely there would have been a will, but you never know... Would some SKS mail mail off list who might be willing to look this up? Thanks so much.
