I indeed did have these. I have baptisms of three children of the first marriage (Israel CONSTANT and Sarah) as follows: Anna bap 1732 at Newland Sarah bap 1734 at Newland bur 1737 Israel b Clearwell bap at Newland 1736 d 1823 (86 yrs) at Noxon (a farm near Clearwell) bur Newland Children of the second marriage to Genevra WORGAN: Anne bap 1745 Newland mar Wm HAWKINS Sarah bap 1747 Newland mar Richard CROSS John bap 1749 Newland (my ancestor) Elizabeth (Genevra) bap 1752 Newland Hannah bap 1755 Newland mar William TAYLOR Joseph bap 1757 mar Sarah (issue) I have not been able to track down the first marriage and Sarah's origin. Also I can only conjecturally connect Israel to Joseph CONSTANCE and Mary at St Briavels, contiguous to Newland, and Israel's age at death of 85 yrs on the MI would place his birth at c1704; not inconsistent with the birth of the other issue of the union but it would be nice to affirm the connection through a baptism or a will. Thanks again for your interest. Gordon Morley
