Any PROUT'S out there!! I am trying to find out more about my husband's ancestors who lived in Pillowell/Parkend/Lydney. George PROUT bap 21/01/1821 married Amelia WILLIAMS, a widow nee ROBBINS on 12/02/1850. The children were GEORGE WILLIAMS (Amelia's son)1847, Elizabeth 1850, Harriet 1852, James 10/06/1856, Emma 11/07/1858 and William 1863. Although their name was PROUT they may have been known by the name of POWELL. Any help on these families would be appreciated. Mary K Newland [email protected]
