Hello Listers, Am interested in the MATHEWS family of Ruardean 1870-1925. Have exhausted trade directories and census entries. Would be delighted to hear from anyone who has come across this family that lived at Hart House behind the petrol station opposite the parish church. My grandfather, Ernest born 1873 and his younger brother, Frank were heavily involved in the Church and Ernest was for many years the bell captain.
