I'm still losing my hair because of this man who was my ggf. and any help, thoughts or suggestions would be manna from heaven. Edwin EYLES was bapt. at Brimpsfield 24.12.1825 to Richard ILES and Patience nee BLANDFORD. I believe that he died sometime before 1893. In August 1853 he was in Littledean Jail as ILES convicted of assault. His prison records show that at that time he was living in Alvington with a wife and 4 children. I have been unable to find the marriage or the births of the children, or to find them on the 1851 census. They appear on the 1871 census at Allastone Meend and on the 1881 census they are listed under HILES. Does anyone have the marriage and births on their list under HILES please? I would be very grateful for any information. John
