Hello All, I see you have all been busy whilst I have been away. I will be replying to all the messages later today and tomorrow (I haven't unpacked yet). This is just a quickie mostly for Ken Murray. After chatting to numerous canal people over the weekend the consensus is that yes it is possible that your machinery may have been moved by canal. I think that there is a list somewhere that deals with boat people and they may help. Alternatively its history books to find the boat companies and hope that they have records in the local reocrd offices - whcih could be one of several as canals tend to cross county boundaries.
