Hi A couple of years ago I wrote to Hawkesbury Primary School and Horton CE VA School asking if they could possibly look in their school registers and see if they could supply me with any information with regard to my CARTER ancestors. Both schools were very obliging and furnished me with some useful information. I was invited to take a look at the Hawkesbury registers and would love to do so as I am sure there is a wealth of information to be found within, unfortunately, I do not live locally but wondered if someone who does and has the time and the interest would consider this as a worth while project recording the information contained within so it could be made available to all with connections to Hawkesbury. Is this a feasible idea? Janet
