Hi Karen, >possibly the children were born to 2 sets of parents of the same name.< Similar problem with my family at Charlton, Wilts, mid 1700s: incredibly we have no less than three couples named Zebulon and Mary HAREWELL all having children at about the same time, with the kids having all the same names..... talk about spaghetti!!!!
