Hi all, Apologies for the lack of messages these past few days but I have a family as well !!! and have spent some time on that this past few days because fo some breakthroughs. My lot are getting nearer to Hawkesbury all the time. Today my mind linked 2 separate pieces of information and I would like your opinions and thoughts. Fact 1. On December 25th 1826 there were 8 THOMPSONs christened at Hawkesbury. The question has always been why. Fact 2. In 1827 The Grandfather of at least 5 of them died. Rambling Thoughts are : - Maybe they knew he was dying, perhaps a long illness, after all he was 91 and he or they wanted to set things "right". His revised will in 1823 reduced the amount 2 sons got from £5 to 5shillings but no reason. What do you think ????
