Dear Adrian, I don't know if you saw my message thanking you for giving me the clue about ROBERT and BETTY, as I couldn't remember who had told me, well talk about fate, I was just sitting looking at the screen, waiting for my e-mails to come through, when I looked up and the message highlighted was yours telling me about Wickwar and the IGI!!!! Now that's spooky!!! I'm so glad that I found you in my inbox, (I kept your message and even flagged it, but of course forgot why I'd flagged it!!!) I will have to tidy up the Mail boxes! I went to the GRO last week and lo and behold there it was in the WICKWAR Parish Records! Anyway, thanks so much for the clue, and I now have a photostat of the marriage of ROBERT DAVIS and ELIZABETH LIMBRICK. Thanks also for taking the trouble to look in the Hawkesbury Records and the IGI. I'm now looking for the marriage of JOB DAVIS and ANN ? .......if you happen to see them anytime I'd be most grateful...... I know... I put on good nature!!!!
