(Newington) Bagpath, Glos. WEEKS, Elijah son 17 Labourer b. This marriage was solemnized between us William WICKS (signature), Martha CHAPPEL ("X") in the Presence of John ROBBINS and Thomas WHITTERN. _____________________ I.G.I. Children christened by William WEEKS and Martha CHAPPELL 1) William Lathom WICKS / WEEKS c. 2 Jan 1831 Hawkesbury 2) Elijah Lathom WICKS / WEEKS c. 4 Aug 1833 Hawkesbury 3) Martha Woodman WICKS / WEEKS c. 1 Jan 1837 Hawkesbury ______________________ I would really, really, really love it if someone could provide further insight into this little family group ... i.e. does the 1841 census show additional children and ... if there were more, what were there names and approx. ages? Can the CHAPPELL researchers confirm this Martha as part of their line? If so, is WOODMAN a family name carried down from the CHAPPELL lineage? How about the LATHOM name; is it carried down from CHAPPELL? Who was really born where? Was William WEEKS b. Sherston and Martha CHAPPEL b. Bagpath as related in the census OR was Martha CHAPPEL b. Sherston and William WICKS was "of Hawkesbury" (for whatever that means! LOL) Were John ROBBINS and Thomas WHITTERN relatives and if so, to whom? William or Martha? As usual, I am looking forward to anyone's input regarding this little riddle! :>) All the best, Ronda WICKS (Woodstock, Ontario, Canada)
