With reference to Den's message concerning the ILES family and baptisms etc. at NORTH and SOUTH CERNEY, I don't know if you are aware that these two villages are about 8 miles apart, one being approx 4 miles north of CIRENCESTER and one approx 4 miles south of Cirencester !, so I would imagine that some kind of mistake exists in the entries that are on line. CALMSDEN however is very close to NORTH CERNEY. I wonder if anyone can help me please, Marilyn's message today about ANSTEY / ANSTEY speaks about the 1881 Census for LONG NEWNTON, if anyone has access to this, I would be grateful if they would look and see if there is any MILSOME / MELSOME / MELLSOMEs listed and also if anyone has a copy of the 1891 census for HAWKESBURY, would they look and see if Albert CHAPPELL and wife Kate and children Edith, Edward and Emily (at least, could be more by then) appear anywere, because I am unsure when he died.
