As a result of the tremendous response to last weekends Get Together and the disappointment felt by some at not being able to attend and because of the new connections that are being made as a result I have bowed to pressure and offer the following. Christmas Dinner will be served to members of the Hawkesbury list, Hawkesbury family researchers, their family and friends etc at 1pm on Saturday December 9th. The cost of the 3 or 4 course meal is likely to be £15 and those wanting to attend will need to book in advance. A non-refundable deposit may well be required as well. The aim of this is to be more "social" than "research" based although obviously those attending will want to be linking and sharing etc. I will post a menu as soon as Mark at the pub lets me have it and details of booking and paying deposits etc. I already have 7 firm bookings.
