Hi All Sorry I missed the gathering on Saturday - you wouldn't have wanted me there with my bugs - I'm now working on next year's celebration! I missed the chance to sell you all a copy of one of my Glorious Gloucestershire CDs. There are four of them altogether but the one you will be interested in is Volume 4. This covers the ancient parishes south of Gloucestershire down to but not including the City of Bristol. Volume 4 has over 2000 photographs on it including more than 60 of Hawkesbury and Hawkesbury Upton. A treat not to be missed!! Christmas is coming - why not treat yourself and your cousins overseas......? The photographs are organised so that you can view them individually in your own software (they are in .jpg format). But, better, the CD will automatically run your web browser (Netscape or Internet Explorer) and allow you to select the parish of your choice from an index, show you thumbnails of the pictures available and then allow you to enlarge them to full screen size and greater to see the detail.
