Hi Cynthia The online IGI gives a marriage between Eliza WHITE and Henry BAKER of the 10th of October 1852. Do you have this certificate which would hopefully give the fathers names and occupations of both parties and if you are lucky will also give their ages at the time of marriage. A letter to the Registrars Office at Yate with a cheque for £6.50 plus postage would be quicker than using the PRO at London although it will still take a few weeks. However as you have the above date it would be easiest. The wedding certificate would also give residences at the time of marriage. Geoffro
