    3. To all THOMPSON researchers on the Samuel THOMPSON / Jane PINCOT line I don't know about you but I have had (till tonight!) the wife of Weeks PINCOT as being Mary STINCHCOMB, daughter of Nathaniel STINCHCOMB and Deborah RODWAY. No longer! The Mary above was christened 8 February 1729 and I have always kept a note "She may be the daughter of Nicholas STINCHCOMB christened 18/6/1723" Looking at Bigland's Monumental Inscriptions tonight I see he has, in Hawkesbury churchyard, the grave of "Mary, Wife of Weeks Pincot, died 6 April 1774 aged 50." This ties in her age (precisely!) to the older Mary. We have to lose the long believed RODWAY line (bye bye to cousin-for-a-while Rob Millard!) and revise the STINCHCOMB line. I would welcome anyone's thoughts on this - but it looks firm to me. Doug Thompson

All is not lost as Marys Father Nicholas and mother Sarah SMART are my 7x great grandparents does that make me me a THOMPSON cousin 786 times removed? an easy mistake to make as I have over 30 mary STINHCOMBE's I would be pleased If you could tell me who Marys Grandfather was now that is a puzzel?
