    3. Hello, Hawkesbury list is the best list I have ever joined. You actually connect! I am seeking help from out of the area. I have been in a list for Norfolk area for 2 years and have yet to get a message. I am sending this message here hoping someone in our group is researching the STOKES family (probably not) but might know of a person or group who is. George Henry STOKES IV was born in Shereford in Norfolk in January, 1852 and came to Michigan, USA in the 1860s, a stonecutter by trade. The IV hints at a III. Can you help? Thank you. Ted Wackerle, Michigan. wackerle@parrett.net

    3. Hello from Australia via Hawkesbury, I'm sure you must have checked this out already but I would have thought that you could find the STOKES in Norfolk on the LDS CD for the 1851 census of that county. Unfortunately I don't have a copy but I'm sure other listers would have. Best of luck. Cheers, Roderick Cooper. ----- Original Message ----- From: Ted & Shirley Wackerle <wackerle@parrett.net> To: <ENG-GLO-HAWKESBURY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, September 02, 2000 9:19 AM Subject: [[Hawks]] STOKES Family > > > Hello, > Hawkesbury list is the best list I have ever joined.
