Good Evening, I would like to introduce myself as a new member and also post my (possible) research interests, i.e. CHAPPELL. My GGG Grandparents were Samuel & Sarah CHAPPELL who moved to Littleton Drew, Wilts a little before 1768 when their first child was born. Samuel is known to have been a farmer. I strongly suspect that this couple came from Hawkesbury and that Sarah was the Sarah ISLES who married Samuel CHAPPELL in Hawkesbury on 10 Nov 1766. Hi Sue The niece of one of my ancestors married a CHAPPELL in Littleton Drew - Jane KING married Daniel CHAPPELL, yeoman of Littleton Drew, in 1808 in West Kington. Do you know if this Daniel is descended from your Samuel and Sarah? I have a few minor bits of CHAPPELL information from Littleton Drew (baptisms, LTAs) but all after 1800.
