Hello All, This is an indirect Hawkesbury question, and is a followup on the info that Kaye provided in early July, regarding the immigration of William SHIPWAY to South Australia. I have found William on the passenger list of the "Alquis" which arrived in Adelaide,SA. 26 August 1856. His wife Sarah, sons Edgar and Edward, 10, (twins?) and daughters Rachel 13 and Charlotte 3, are listed also - but - according to the 1851 census William and Sarah had two older sons, George 15 and Henry 11. My question is - did George and Henry stay in Gls. or did they also come to Australia at a later date? Another one - can anyone tell me Sarah's maiden name? ( she was born in Ozelworth, re the census) Helga, Takura, Australia.
