Hi Gail George Samuel BANKS JENKINSON was 11th Baronet formerly of the rifle brigade on later Captain of the 8th Gloucester Hussars High Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1882 and MP for North Wiltshire 1860-1880 (obviously a busy guy) He died in Eastwood Glous jan 19th 1892 aged 74 he is buried in the family vault at St Georges Falfield near Thornbury. His mother was Emily Sophia eldest daughter of Anthony LYSTER of Stillogran Co Dublin died feb 23 1892 aged 65 also buried at Falfield Their son George BANKS JENKINSON JP DL became 12 th baronet b.10th may 1851 died 5th june 1915 married Madeline she died 4 feb 1922 His eldest son John BANKS JENKINSON Captain rifle brigade who was serving on the staff as Brigade Major when killed at Vendress France he was mentioned in Dispatches served with the Mounted Infantry South African War.
