Hi all I had come across Six Cottages/Jerusalem when I did some transcribing for the 1881 census many moons ago and asked my grandfather about it. He'd never heard of the cottages as anything but Six cottages so sorry can't help on that one. Great grandfather George Tuck was born in 1863. His mother Caroline was unmarried at the time though she married George Deacon some 6 years later. I have not tried to find out who his father was yet. Perhaps someone out there could give me some ideas on that. Caroline Tuck's parents were Thomas Tuck & Priscilla Summers, Robert Tuck who married Harriet Cooper Thompson was a brother of Thomas.
