Hi, Geoff. Edwin EVANS (in at least one reference Edward) and Ann (maiden name unknown). Great granny dropped the Alice somewhere along the way, which we also have as Anice (can't recall which document off-hand). Her other name appears as Rosina, Rosena and Rose. At first we had no idea where she was born. In the 1881 Bristol census her details were given as "Anice Rosina born in Axbey" - we applied dialect correction, checked the records and behold! We don't have an absolute date as yet, just September quarter 1853.
