Hi Carole/All I must ask ...... Can anyone tell me anything about Jane PRITCHARD? When/where was she born, when did she marry John WATTS. She's not one of mine, but I am curious about a Jane PRITCHARD (nee KING) whose husband (John PRITCHARD) appears to have disappeared fairly shortly after they married in Old Sodbury in 1795. They moved to West Kington, Wilts and had one son William. Jane then seems to have taken up with an unknown 'protector' by whom she has 6 illegitimate children between 1801 and 1809. She then disappears from the scene and I have been unable to trace her. I would really like to know what happened to this lady so if anyone recognises her please, please could you satisfy my curiosity.
