    3. Bob Thanks for the 1871 census I don't think I had that one. The gene pool is not quite as bad as it looks. Daniel & Sarah WATTS were not related except by marriage. Daniel was from the Didmarton lot whilst Sarah was a Hawkesbury girl. I have a sneaking suspicion though, that back in the 17th century they all originated in Old Sodbury. Jane Pritchard married John Watts of Hawkesbury by licence 20 July 1819 at Marshfield. . Isaac WATTS's wife was Sarah, surname unknown. According to the 1881 & 1901 census their children were 1. Alfred b bef 1863 Hawkesbury who married Ruth b abt 1864 Doynton and had a daughter Alice b abt 1891 2. Edwin b baf 1865 at Hawkesbury or Kilcott but chr. March 2 1870 at St Giles Hillesley. He married Annie L.... who was born abt 1872 in ?Berkeley and they had a son John E WATTS b abt 1900 in Kilcott. Edwin died Jan 10 1934 and his wife Annie died Nov 8 1982. Both are buried at Hillesley 3. Alice Watts Christening: March 2, 1870 St. Giles, Hillesley In 1881 census shown as niece of Elizabeth WALBRIDGE at WALCOT Bath Elizabeth is a widow born Hawkesbury about 1823 - I don't know who she is. Also there is Mary J WINBOW, b abt 1853 Hawkesbury. I believe she is the daughter of Robert WINBOW and Hannah/Anna Jane WATTS who was also the daughter of John WATTS & Jane PRITCHARD. This would make Alice WATTS & Mary Jane WINBOW 1st cousins! New readers start here!
