    3. Hi Liz Brilliant, another WATTS for the collection!. Could you let me have the complete 1871 census entry please? On the 1881 census there are 3 Walter WATTS of about the same age in the Hawkesbury area and I can account for the other two. So I guess the Horfield one is yours. Please let me know if you find out any more about this family. Best wishes Carole ----- Original Message ----- From: "David & Liz Fisher" <[email protected]> To: "anthony sharp" <[email protected]> Cc: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 23, 2004 3:06 PM Subject: Yet more WATTS > Hi Carole and every one, > > Firstly, I've had a great time going through the Hawkesbury CD produced > last summer. 3. Hi Carole The 1871 census ref is RG 10 2581 3B Hawkesbury : Hillesley, Tresham, Saddlewood, Killcott.................etc Page 13 Lower Kilcott item 62 John WATTS, Head, Widr, age 49, Ag Lab, born Hawkesbury Upton Sarah ( then a squiggle like an S but which I think must be a J) Ditto, Daur, Unmar, age 16, Servant General, Ditto Walter Ditto, Son, - , age 9, Scholar, Ditto I feel guilty now that I didn't transcribe a bigger chunk of the tape. It was very near the beginning and I had a stack of tricky stuff to look for in Somerset, so I moved on very rapidly, but my memory is that there were a whole lot of other WATTS in Lower Kilcott. The entry means that Hannah WATTS nee PAINTER must have died between Dec qu 1861 and 1871, but I had no time for more than a quick check for the first 2 quarters to see if she had died in childbirth. ( no result). I'll let you know if I locate Walter after 1881. Cheers Liz On Friday, January 23, 2004, at 10:22 PM, anthony sharp wrote: > Hi Liz > Brilliant, another WATTS for the collection!.
