I don't know if my HAMONDSes are related to your HAMMONDs but my 2 x ggm (Caroline HAMONDS 1825 - 1909, d/o Charles & Sarah - Sarah was born Hawkesbury about 1786 and married Thomas HARRIS in 1852 after her first husband, my 3 x ggf, died). So far as I know, Caroline had an elder sister, Ann, born Hawkesbury 1817 and a younger brother, Henry b. Hillesley c. 1830. Caroline married Joseph STINCHCOMBE at Kingswood in 1849, he being s/o David S & Maria (née FOX). Regards to all Martin Yerbury - clinging on at 28,800 bps with an analogue line having just moved house. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Carole@ymiles.freeserve.co.uk> To: <ENG-GLO-HAWKESBURY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, August 05, 2005 8:16 PM Subject: [HWK] Hammonds and Carter Surnames > Hello Everyone > > Has anyone come across the HAMMONDS and CARTER family in your search. > > I'm looking for any contacts of > GEORGE,ELLEN,EDGAR,EDITH,ERNEST,WALTER.WILFRED and WILLIAM HAMMONDS who > were residing in Hawkesbury on the 1901 census. > > EDITH known as SIS married ARTHUR CARTER,their children were RUBY and > JEFFREY.I think they lived in Hilsley > > I would be very grateful for any information regarding my family > > > > Carole > > > > > > -- > No virus found in this outgoing message. > Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. > Version: 7.0.338 / Virus Database: 267.10.1/64 - Release Date: > 04/08/2005 > > > > ==== ENG-GLO-HAWKESBURY Mailing List ==== > Visit Robert Millard's local and family history web pages at http://www.hawkesburyhistory.co.uk. > > ============================== > Jumpstart your genealogy with OneWorldTree.
