    1. PINCOTT
    2. Hi to the List I have been researching the name PINCOTT for many years as it appears in my husband's maternal line twice. William Pincott married Ann (nee Pincott!) in 1819 at St George, Bristol, Glos. I know that William's ancestors had been in the Bristol parish of St Philip & Jacob since the mid 1700s but I believe they came into Bristol for work from the country parishes of Sth Gloucestershire, could be Tormarton judging by Christian names used but that's no proof I know. I suspect that Ann PINCOTT born about 1801 who married William PINCOTT in 1819 may be the daughter of a James PINCOTT who could have come from the Hawksbury area. I'd be willing to share the PINCOTT information I already have with other subcribers to the List, especially data from the Bristol parish registers, cenuses, etc and from some South Glos parishes, that I have gathered over the years. I would love to hear from anyone who may be able to help me especially with the baptism of Ann PINCOTT about 1801. I have been in touch with other Pincott researchers by email and snail mail over the years. Here's hoping! Bernice Pegler in Bristol
