    3. Good morning I have some direct FRANCOMB'S but from DOYNTON GLOS. I think they go back to the 1600's but ROB MILLARD thinks they originate from HAWKESBURY I have not linked them as yet but I'm sure he will be correct. Please keep me informed and best of luck.Jim -----Original Message----- From: j.brookes4 [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 07 July 2003 12:29 To: [email protected] Subject: [HWK] Francomb Family Good afternoon I have only just joined your list from the Birmingham list hoping for a break through with my Wife's FRANCOMB family. I have gone from Birmingham To Chipping Sodbury to Yate and now find myself in Hawkesbury with John FRANCOMB born 02 March 1703 marrying Mary WELSTEAD 02 April 1719 in Yate Gloucester. His Father is shown as being also John baptised 13 July 1677 Hawkesbury. His Father shown as Francis FRANCOMBE the only John I can find is John Yeoman FRANCOM born about 1676 married to Margaret WORKMAN about 1701 Hawkesbury. His Father Francis F FRANCOMBE mother Elizabeth EMERSON Francis F. born about 1637 in Hawkesbury married 26 Feb 1662 in Hawkesbury and unfortunately this appears to be the end of the line. Can anyone help?
