    3. Hi Paul In my notes I have Richard HANCOCK's father as Thomas son of John and Dorithy, but not 100% sure ? also I think John HANCOCK left a will at Oldbury on the Hill but I have not had sight of it yet. I have Richards will ref GRO 1649/68 Hawkesbury I think they probably lived at Maypole farm at Upton then moving to Saddewood House where we find son William dies there in 1674. Richard was my 10 x Great grandfather. regards Robert -- Original Message ----- From: "Gifford, Paul" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, July 14, 2003 2:06 PM Subject: [HWK] HANCOCK, Little Badminton > > Dorothy, daughter of John Butler, Esq., of Great Badminton (Lord of > the Manor) in the mid-16th century, by > Silvester Gyes, married John Hancock (source - Visitation of > Gloucester, 1623).
