Here's a little bit of information on the Workman family. The will of Richard Francklyn, of Sherston Magna, Wilts., yeoman, dated 4 May 1608, proved 14 July 1608 at the Archdeaconry Court of Wiltshire, gives to his daughter Margaret and her children; the will of Richard's widow Joan, dated 18 Sept. 1612, proved 24 Feb. 1613/4 in the same court, gives to daughter Margaret Workman. Margaret was baptized 17 August 1578 at Ogbourne St. Andrew, Wilts. Richard Francklyn (1541-1608) had freehold land at Rockley, a tenement in Marlborough, and acquired land in Sherston by 1585.
