Hi All Evan STINCHCOMBE married Lucy BAKER at Hawkesbury 23 July 1881, Lucy was the daughter of Edwin Jesse BAKER and Mary Ann WATTS who said she was born at Hawkesbury, the marriage cert says she is 22 in 1881. In 1891 they lived at Tresham but had been at Horton from 1885-1890 I have traced Edwin who likes to call himself Jesse and does not age from 1891-1901 (good trick that) but I can not find Mary Ann WATTS. Evan was the son of Thomas STINCHCOMBE and Lucy Annie BLAKEN daughter of Charles of Hawkesbury common his first wife, they had 3 children, he secondly married Sarah Ann TANDY,they had 7 children, Thomas STINCHCOMBE was the son of Joseph S and Mary Jane DEACON his birth cert says he was born at "Waterloo" Hawkesbury has anyone come across this place before its located somewhere on Hawkesbury common. regards Robert Visit my web pages at http://www.btinternet.com/~ra.millard/index.htm --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
