Hello all, Seeing as there seem to be quite a few CHAPPELL researchers around......... I was wondering whether anyone had managed to positively identify the Mary BROWNING who married Samuel CHAPPELL in Woodchester in 1705. This lady is proving rather elusive. I've been through the Woodchester PRs with a fine tooth comb but have come to the conclusion that many of the records for the latter part of the 17th century are missing. For the years that records do exist there just don't seem to be enough entries given the number of families that are shown on the 1671/1672 hearth tax. So if Mary was of the Woodchester BROWNINGs then it looks very much as if the christening record is missing. I can't find mention of her in any of the Wills I've looked at. Any suggestions / offers / additional information very gratefully received. Regards Sue Sissons] Hemel Hempstead
