Hi Sue I had the same problem with Mary BROWNING it would appear Mary was from Woodchester but is one of the many unregistered children, we might have a clue in the name of Samuel and Mary's children three of the names Job, Pricilla, and Rachell are the first instances I know of in the CHAPPELL family as childrens names, these may have come from Mary's family. The only other avenue is to look at Woodchester BROWNING Wills. regards Robert ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, July 30, 2003 7:43 PM Subject: [HWK] Samuel CHAPPELL & Mary BROWNING > Hello all, > > Seeing as there seem to be quite a few CHAPPELL researchers around......... > > I was wondering whether anyone had managed to positively identify the Mary > BROWNING who married Samuel CHAPPELL in Woodchester in 1705.
