Hi, I was hoping somebody may be able to help me. I have received this morning a marriage certificate for Jesse KATHRO and Hannah LACEY. they were married in the Church of St Mary the Virgin, Wotton Under Edge on 28.1.1844. Jesses is down as residing in Kingswood, but Hannah's residence is 'Pound Ground'. Does anybody know whether this is or was in Wotton, and if not do they have any idea where it might be.
