Hi Synthia James CHAPPELL was my 3rd Great Uncle he was the son of Richard CHAPPELL and Anna STOCKWELL he firstly married Hester HOPKINS 8th Dec 1823 at Hawkesbury and then Elizabeth WEBB 9th Nov 1843 at Hawkesbury, I have never found any children from either marriage but Elizabeth had 2 sons Sidney and John WEBB. James was born at Oldbury on the Hill 1797 his parents moved to Hawkesbury abt 1799. His brother Isaac CHAPPELL is my line I have traced them back to abt 1525 at Oldbury on the Hill. Hester CHAPPELL born 1771 is the daughter of James and Sarah nee RODWAY Hester CHAPPELL and James CHAPPELL are 2nd cousins 1 time removed. Their common ancestors are James RODWAY and Mary STINCHCOMB.
