Hello Helen, My partner has CHAPPELL connections galore - her mother was a CHAPPELL. I've traced the family back as far as Charles CHAPPELL born about 1815 in Henbury, but no definite Hawkesbury connection as yet. (I found the Hawkesbury site while looking for Thomas TAVENDER or TAVENER whose daughter married Charles' son, William Charles CHAPPELL. I couldn't pin him down to Hawkesbury but I'm still hoping something will turn up.) We're off to California tomorrow for a couple of weeks, but if you think my Charles CHAPPELL may be connected to your CHAPPELLS please get in touch.
