Hi Carole, I do have both the wills you mention (also have some nice transcripts if you want a copy). I've no idea (yet) when Margery's husband John died. But ... and you might like this one ..... I've just noticed that I have a Will for John IDOLLS who died round about 1612 and who mentions his son John. The will also mentions Agnis, William and Thomas IDOLLS but irritatingly is not specific as to any relationship. This does seem to tie in quite nicely. I will be more than happy to let you have a transcript if you would like. Any info. you can add will be gratefully received. I would welcome a copy of your WATTS will in due course. Cheers Sue

I've just downloaded another Will - Richard WATTS of Alveston , made 14 Feb 1611 proved 31 March 1612. (would this be the same year?). He is the son of William WATTS in the will of 1609. His Will names Richard and Thomas, my sons. ?Anne and Alice, my daughters. Margery IDOLLS my sister!!!! William, Thomas and Agnes IDOLLS her children!!! John WATTS the son of my brother William Margarett my Wife. Also Joane ATKINS; Thomas SMITH, John ?PHILL. Debtors were Henry ?REEVE of Axebury or Westbury; William ?TOBY my brother in law; Thomas SHORT or HORT my brother in law and John ???Underwood Signed by Richard WATTS his mark; Sam. NEALE, John IDOLLS his mark, Tho. SMITH. So it's all coming together. Well done the Hawkesbury team! Cheers Carole
