Hello All I have just downloaded from Documents Online, the Will of William WATTS of Old Sodbury 1609. I'll pass a transcript to Robert for Wills web shortly but would like help with a few words that I can't quite understand first., William WATTS leaves land "lying below ?Trill in the parishes of ?Alleston ?Floreate Tytherington and ?Hitherington" I'm OK with Tytherington but can anyone suggest where the other places might be please. Bequests are made to John FFOWLER of ?Denton (perhaps Semiton?); John IDOLLS my shepheard; William SHORTE son of Jane SHORTE of ?Tortinton; John TILLEY son of Margaret ?G/DOUGIN of Littleton. Again I'm OK with Littleton but not the rest. Also, does anyone know anything about the IDOLLS of Didmarton. I'm looking for one who married Margery WATTS and had 2 sons, William and Thomas sometime before 1609. Other names mentioned are Richard BLANCHARD, William S/BALLY, Thomas BLANCHARD and Marnaduke CHAPMAN All help much appreciated! Cheers Carole
