Hi Caroline Timithy Shearman BROOKS was born at Hawkesbury bap, 2 Feb 1806 at St Mary's he seems to be a base born child to Sarah BROOKS who was born in Hillesley to William and Mary and as with all other children of theirs she was baptised in the Hillesley Street Baptist Chapel on 31 Mar 1789. I would guess his father was John SHEARMAN/SHEARMUR who lived close by and was the only male with that name of a suitable age. It seems he is not in the area in 1851 I can find no record of his burial so I assume he has moved away, do you have any more details.
